FAQs, Terms & Policies

  • What kind of support does a Virtual Assistant provide?

A Virtual Assistant (VA) is a remote support professional who helps with administrative, operational, and organisational tasks - think inbox and calendar management, document creation, CRM updates, travel bookings, and more. At Verdure, we’re not just task-tickers - we become part of your team.

Why should I work with a Virtual Assistant instead of hiring someone in-house?

Working with a VA gives you flexibility, expertise, and cost efficiency. You only pay for the support you need, without the overheads of hiring an employee. It’s a smart way to increase productivity, reduce overwhelm, and stay organised as your business grows. Plus, you gain back precious time to focus on client relationships, strategy, and revenue-generating work.

What if I need help with something that’s not listed on your site?

We’re constantly upskilling and love learning new platforms and tools. If you need something not listed on our site, get in touch - if we’re not already familiar with it, we’re happy to explore how we can support you.

What’s the process to get started?

It starts with a free Discovery Call, where we learn more about you, your business, and the kind of support you’re looking for. If we’re a good fit, we’ll send through a proposal outlining services, hours, pricing, and terms - and from there, we’ll get everything set up and onboarded to start working together smoothly.

Will you help me with marketing strategy or only content creation?

Our packages include both. We believe great content starts with clear direction, so we help shape your messaging, plan your content calendar, and ensure everything aligns with your goals. You get more than just good-looking posts; you get purpose-driven content.

Is it possible to add digital marketing to my business support plan?

Yes, social media and digital marketing support can be added as an optional extra to any of our business support packages. It’s a great way to centralise your support and make sure everything runs smoothly under one roof (with bundled pricing, too).

Will I need to approve every post, or can you handle everything?

We’re flexible! Some clients like to be very involved in the review process, while others are happy to hand over the reins. We work in collaboration with you to find the right balance and ensure every piece of content sounds like you.

What happens during our first call?

The Discovery Call is a relaxed 20–30 minute chat (via MS Teams or phone) where we get to know you and your business. We’ll ask about your current challenges, your goals, and the type of support you’re looking for. You’re welcome to ask questions about how we work, too. It’s all about making sure we’re the right fit.

How do we move forward after our initial chat?

After the call, if you’re ready to go ahead, we’ll send a tailored proposal and agreement. This outlines what we’ll deliver, how we’ll work together, timelines, pricing, and key details like communication preferences and payment terms. Once signed and the invoice is paid, we’ll begin onboarding.

When and how do I pay for services?

All services are paid upfront. For ongoing packages, we invoice monthly at the beginning of each billing cycle. For one-off projects, we typically request a 50% deposit upfront, with the balance due upon completion. Payment details and terms are included in your proposal and agreement.
